Also on April 21, our Adults' Class experienced a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. After the formal greeting, "Otemae chōdai itashimasu" ("Thank you for preparing the tea"), we enjoyed the quiet elegance of the moment, learning about Japanese hospitality and mindfulness.
We were also treated to a special performance by our tea ceremony instructor, Ms. Itō, who is also an accomplished koto player. The gentle sound of the koto filled the school, creating a truly immersive experience.
In the Adults' Class, we focus on practical Japanese that you can use in real-life situations. And in May, we're looking forward to an exciting study tour to Japan!
